It should have (at least) her fathers name.

put children in Orphanage in 1919
found james in 1925 in 184 Egan st Kalgoorlie

Cannot find death of Gertrude o Simpson
she might have married again? or changed her name

only marriage that I could find in WA was before they split up.

SIMPSON GERTRUDE FREMANTLE 215 F 1915 HARTLE LIONEL

And the only death in WA was for a G. Mary from Fremantle

Do you think she may have moved interstate ?

It seems strange that the children were put in an orphanage if both the parents were still alive.....?
