my great grandfather is from castle caereinion in montgomeryshire wales.also known as forden on census.
his mother(sarah) had him in 1895.she was unmarried. there is no sign of her on 1901 & 1911 census. but he is livin with his grandfather & step grandmother. also an aunt on 1901 census mary jane.
i cannot find his mother or her mother on any records.

Could she have got married? Not all husbands were prepared to take on a child of another man.
