I am looking at James Albert, my grandfather. I am working back from his marriage certificate and his id rcard. I assumed that the James Albert .the first one, was him, as the the birth place matched but the date was wrong. I recall Mention of Great Grandfather John, and, I think Cyril and Percy. My James Albert married Louisa Williams in 1921 and one of his witnesses was infact Harry Percy Hughes, which looks like his brother. I know there was a Wrexham connection in the past, even though I don't know what. The fog is clearing a little.

You say you are working back from James' marriage cert; what was his father's name and occupation on the certificate?
