Will the Electoral Roll tell me who was living at an address. I'm trying to find who was living at 88 Squire Street, Liverpool, in April 1897. |

The library at Liverpool may hold the electoral rolls or be able to tell you where you can find them. Some places will do a look up, some charge and some do it for free. |

Thanks Liz. I don't live in the UK, would I be able to do it by email? |

I'm not sure that you'll get results for such an early date. Certainly most women won't be listed until around 1930. |

You could check with the Liverpool Records Office which is within Liverpool Central Library...they may be able to help in some way. |

Thanks everybody for the help. I'll definitely try Liverpool Library. I've tried the censuses but that doesn't help. I'm almost at the point of giving up. |
