Thanks Star 1 for your interest and suggestions. However, the Williams you mention just do not fit. Maybe William and Elizabeth married in Scotland. It might be that Elizabeth was under age at the time. It is also strange that I cannot find William's death around 1900. Perhaps he emigrated. Thanks again. Pamela |

I am trying to find the marriage and death of William Henry Jackson. He was born in York around 1856 and later moved to Hull, where he married an Elizabeth Ingram. He must have died between 1896 (birth of his son) and 1901 when Elizabeth had remarried as a widow to a Frederick Buckerfield. Can't find any trace of death or marriage of William. The last mention of him was on the 1891 Hull census when his occupation was Clerk CC. Have tried most of the parishes - no luck. Any ideas anyone please ? His father was also William Henry Jackson so he is shown as Harry on one census. |
