Hello,

My grandad was born on the 6th, December 1929. I was lead to believe he was born in west Gorton, Manchester but I can't find the record.

Hope someone can help

He could have been registered in the following Jan

There are 2 registered in DEC Q 1929 but in West Derby, lancs

I have another mystery now. Stan's mother Mary Jane Wright (formerly Walley) died when Stan was a young boy. I can't find any birth records for her. Mary Jane married Herbert Wright in Dec 1919.

any ideas anyone?
