But didn't I post his birth from BVRI along with his siblings?

Ok I kinda hit a brick wall now...

I'm struggling to find the parents of Joseph Cheseldine born 1857 Horncastle..
I looked him up on the census records and found him there with some of his brothers and sisters and found that the only page of the census available had 'continued' scribbled in the top left hand corner and that the page I was reading was the last one for the district, so there was no information on his parentage. There seems to be a tangle of Cheseldines all born around the same time... It looks like there are about 3 lots of close relatives possibly brothers doing their best to completely populate the whole district!!
Does anyone undestand the tangle?

Not sure about the last 4, there's quite a gap between them and the previous ones.

I see, on that 1891 census that Joseph was born in Horncastle so this is probably his birth:

Well, my BVRI discs are no help at all until we get back another generation. I can't find the birth or marriage of Charles nor any children of Joseph.

Curiously my gt, grandfather lived and worked at Cemetery Lodge, Eston, Yorkshire. Consequently grandad and his siblings were born in the cemetery!

Charles Cheseldine born 1887
He lived and worked at the Cemetary Lodge in Lincoln and was born in the district of Horncastle.
Married to Ava (not got her surname or date of marriage yet)
