I would probably eliminate nos.1, 5 and 6 (either too old or too young)
which leaves three possibles. I would try viewing the 1911 search for Ellen first.

Hello June,
If you do a free search using the 1911 census at
http://www.1911census.co.uk/
Put Emily Jones in top box and 1906 +/- 1 year and Edward Jones in 'other member of household', select Glamorganshire and type in Merthyr Tydfil in 'Residential Place' then the following names come up.

If she was still living in Merthyr tydfil in 1911, then there are three possible entries:-

First names ELLEN
Last names JONES
Birth Year 1906
Birth Year +/- 1 years
County Glamorganshire
Residence MERTHYR TYDFIL
Other person first names EDWARD

but two have Ellen as middle names so the other may be worth a look ?

Trying to find the birth record of Ellen Jones, her father was Edward Jones and she was born in Treorghy Merthytydfil around 1906. I think she had a sister. She married a Walton John White from Pokesdown.
Any help with Ellen's mothers name would help aswell, with Jones in Wales its a long slog.
