I'm trying to find more information about my great great uncle Lewis Thomas lewis. He was born in Portmadoc in c1874and spent over 50 years at sea during his working life. He died in 1935 and is burried in Porthmadog cemetry. he was injured in the war when his ship was hit by a torpedo. he worked also as a Stevendore, we believe @ Liverpool. he was also in San Francisco during 1906 earth quake
I have his where abouts in the 1888, 1890, 1891 and 1901 cencus but nothing for 1911 or any other information. Believe he worked in Liverpool docks for a time and he may of ben admitted to hospital following his injury during the war???
No idea if he any medals or anything, but he did have a military funeral organised by the British leigion in Porthmadog
