I've found her marriage. She married Clayton Canwood in 1915, until then she was single. She was Selina Mary Ward in June 1901 when she gave birth to Harry, and living on Bland Street in Sheffield.
My have to search individual images! Eeeek

possible marriages there are a lot more in different areas,try to find her married to one of these on the census

Well i seem to have found John Ward in 1901, once again a widow with more chidren but where is Selina/Mary??

Yes i think he must have remarried as he has a wife in 1891 but i cant find them in 1901 xx

Looks like john was living with his parents as a widower and his children

Hiya
Selina Mary Ward may be my GGrandmother so i'm trying to find info about her.
She was born in Sheffield in 1873. I can find her in the 1881 and 91 census. In 1891 she is down as Mary S Ward.
Her parents appear to be John Ward b 1845 in Totley and Emma born 1855 in Shropshire.
I have a birth certificate for a Harry Ward born to Selina Mary in 1901. This may be my grandfathers birth certificate although we don't know what name he was registered under as it appears he was illegitimate. On the certificate it states Lucy Turner as present at the birth. on investigation this appears to be Selinas younger sister as i can find a marriage to a Frederick Turner.
Any help is appreciated
