Are you not going to get the marriage certificate, to get you her father's name?

And note that the 1911 gives her DOB as 1885, which would ordinarily mean 1884 or 1885. Have you checked the 1911 for her stated place of birth?

Hi I am trying to find out details of my maternal grandmother Sarah Catherine Jones
Born 1886 and died 26th (could not read the month it was in Welsh) 1964. I should know Iwas a paulbearer
She was married to Lemuel Thomas Phillips and I have details provided by the kindness of NinjaLady and others. I have two leads from the:

1891 census
William Jones Head 40 Coal miner Cardiganshire
Elizabeth Jones Wife 36 “
Rees Jones Son 7 “
John Jones Son 6
Mary Jones Daughter 4
Sarah Jones Daughter 2

1901 Census
Mary Jones Head 51 Cardigan Yuytty Yathwy
Rees Jones Son 28 Coal Ripper “
Joseph Jones Son 21 “
Richard Son 18 Coal hewer
Elizabeth Daughter 16
Sarah Jones Daughter 13

Thomas Jones 1851 and Sarah A. Living in Llanon Carmarthen
With children
Henry D. Jones 1876 David Jones 1883 Fanny 1885, Catherine 1888,
Rachell 1890, Thomas 1894

But I also have details of William Jones born C1883-1925 Coal Merchant from Cardiff who married Beatrice Harris 1882-1959 Licenced Club ManagerWilliams Parents were Thomas Jones C1854 Coal merchant and Margaret Davies C1853 and have no links to the above or to Sarah Gosling.
The reason I am uncertainof the above families is that Sarah my grandmother was widowed in 1919 and I believed went to live in Maestaeg running a Coal Merchants and went bankrupt in the 1920/30’s she then went to run a public house called the Grey Cow in Carmarthen there are work related links with the above Jones family
