Ernest and Laura married in 1891 They had two children Ernest and Alfred my grandfather. Sadly they separated. He ? married again.he was a stock brokers clerk born in 1871in islington.Can any one help please

Cant find a marriage to Ethel -it was very expensive and took years to get a divorce in those days -usually the separated parties just set up home with new partners and waited until death intervened

Have you looked for them in 1911 -for that census , you wererequired to say how many years you had been married -interesting to see what they have put
