Is anyone here Scottish, or searching for Scottish ancestors? One of my grandfathers was Lewis Mitchell born and died in Glasgow (1857-1934) who died before my birth. He was a Master Slater. One brother was George Mitchell who had a son called Paul. His first marriage was to Jessie McMillan who died in her thirties, they had several children. One son also named Lewis Mitchell, daughters Mary and Isabell, and other children. Then he married an Elizabeth Richardson but don't know what happened to that marriage. Then Jean (Jeanie) Fraser, they had a son John Fraser Mitchell. When he died in 1934 he was again married, don't know if any children. Don't think so but who knows.... |
