I have an unwanted birth certificate for Ellen Eliza Watson born July 1854 in Somers Town, St Pancras. The parents are Thomas Watson and Eliza (Smart).

Please contact me if you think this person is the one you are seeking and I will happily forward the certificate.

Perhaps you would care to post it on www.bmdshare.com

Not only your unwanted ones - I put all of mine on there, and made a valuable contact.

Have just been told this by someone else, and will give it a try. Thank you for responding and also for the idea of putting on 'relevant' certs ~ that does make sound sense.

Add a postem to the record at FreeBMD -- and be sure to include an email address for contact, because contact through the FreeBMD system isn't possible.

I recommend an anonymous web-based email account e.g. at www.gmail.com

A thread about postems here:
