The messages from Sue have not be ignored - we have written to each other by PM
(This is just for the benefit of a certain person who decided to write to me telling me how rude i was for not replying to Sue)

I'm sorry someone took it upon themselves to do that, there seems to be a spate of rude messages lately.
I wish they would stop it.

That is the problem when PM'ing, you never know if the poster has found the responses to the posting. And there is the possibility that they don’t know how to get back!!!

I'm not saying don’t PM but I do wonder if when all the communication re a thread goes on behind PM'ing if other users might think the original poster has not been back and found the responses...just a thought?

Maureen, I think there are a couple of people on here who PM posters in a bid to help them get back to their thread (If they don’t know how..As I didn’t many moons ago)

And I think this came about because 'posters' who didn’t respond for some time were given a hard time 'in public' and that was not very nice.

I beg to differ with Maureen.


Ginny is quite right, there are some of us who try to help this way and I was the person who sent Maureen a note.

This is a note which I send out quite frequently and to which I have had many exceedingly grateful responses.

It is a note which lets them know that there are replies to their message and, if they are perhaps new, I gently explain how to use My Threads so that they can find their replies and how to click on the purple reply button to respond and thank helpers.


There has never been any intention of saying a person was rude as I am aware that most who do not reply are new folk.


I have apologised to Maureen if my note upset her as that was certainly not my intention.



I have, however, received an exceedingly rude pm from Maureen.

So its you Cynthia, naughty girl lol
