Coreen. There were no Passenger Lists between the Island of Ireland and England...The best you can hope for is to locate his address in 1903 (Woodford Essex)...see who was at that address in 1901 and try and work with any info.you can get from there.

Hi,

Does anyone know how to trace records of someone emigrating from Antrim,Northern Ireland to England?. I know my grt-grandad,George Allen, was born in Northern Ireland in 1876 & was working in Woodford,Essex by 1903. He married my grt-grandmother in 1904 & they were then living in London. I have so far been unable to trace when he left NI. Have tried the 1901 census but have been unable to trace him with any certainty in either the Irish or UK census. Any suggestions gratefully received.

Regards

Coreen
