Have you looked on freebmd?

Things it would help to know:

Where??

Did Rose have a middle name?

Don't see a Rose Edwards living with Jack and William Edwards in 1911 on a quick search. So this could be the marriage ...

Marriages Mar 1901
Edwards William John W. Derby 8b 626
JUMP Maud Beatrice W. Derby 8b 626
SHERIDAN Rose Ann W. Derby 8b 626
Ward George Augustine W. Derby 8b 626

and one could search the 1901 for them ... but you can just tell us. ;)

If her name was Rosamund, why did you ask about Rose?

And have you tried looking yourself on freebmd?

One sighs.

And she's still invisible to me in 1911.

Presumably, Wilfred, you have found that there is no death at FreeBMD for Rosamund P Edwards.

So either she died somewhat later and the death hasn't yet been transcribed, in which case you get the fun job of searching the untranscribed index pages (or waiting for Ancestry or FreeBMD to complete the transcribing), or her death record varies somehow from her other records.

There's sure no birth record that I can see, under Palmer or Jarvis, for Rosam*.

EDWARDS ROSE 1879 32 Aston Warwickshire
EDWARDS WINEY 1902 9 Aston Warwickshire
EDWARDS JACKEY 1904 7 Aston Warwickshire
EDWARDS WILLEY 1907 4 Aston Warwickshire

Just because these things make me insane. And that sure does.

She has given me an itch!

Could this be why she was "palmer jarvis" when she married?

Marriages Dec 1896
> Jarvis Rose Anna Coventry 6d 1041
> PALMER Frank Coventry 6d 1041
PRESCOTT Clara Coventry 6d 1041
Rice Walter Coventry 6d 1041

It would be backwards, but given her kids' names in 1911 ...

1901

Wm John Edwards 25 - born: Weston Stone, Shropshire
Rose Edwards 22 - born Stafford
Civil parish: Aston

Births Dec 1877 ??
Jarvis Rosalind Stafford 6b 6

1881

Thomas Jarvis 48
Harriet Jarvis 44 - apparently second wife, Q2 1877, Harriet Nixon?
Rosalin Jarvis 2
Thomas Barrett 51
Ann Barrett 49
Civil parish: Stafford St Mary

1891

Harriet Jarvis 53
Rosaline Jarvis 14
John Follows 73
Civil parish: St Mary and St Chad, Stafford

All in aid of knowing what name "Rose" might have died as ... but still no luck.

Oh roy

"There is more info. re: Rose Edwards on Teresa's similar thread from Sept. 17 + several possible deaths for her."

Isn't that just fun??

(Note: it helps a lot if you give the URL for similar threads.)

So, Teresa, READ THE RULES.

ONE POST PER TOPIC.

Not one post per week, let's see whether we can get somebody to do over what's been done before ... and STILL NOT give accurate info.

If you found them on the 1911, GIVE THAT INFO. If you have other info, GIVE IT.

And REPLY to the efforts that people go to for you.

Apparently two people have been using an account to do the same querying, or so I'm told. (Both threads are signed the same.)

This is not fair to other members.
