Gordon if you look at the info given on the 1841 census when the family are living at Granby Street, it states that richard is 11 months so presume born July 1840 as the 1841 census was taken the night of 6th June, as Glitter Babe says there were no penalties for not registering a birth, so maybe you should be looking at baptism records..........try putting a request on the Records Office Board for a Ancestry Baptism look up........you may get lucky! |
