Help I`m trying to find any info about Joseph Clarke who was the son of Arthur Clarke. Arthur was born c.1869 in Eccles which is now part of Greater Manchester. There is a family story about his son Joseph who left England and went to New Zealand but drowned on the way there. No one seems to know if this is true. Perhaps he arrived safely and had a family in New Zealand. Does anyone know anything about this? |

Thanks for the info. He is definitely on the earlier census form but I`m not sure about the 1901 census. Some of the names match with known relatives but I`m still trying to find Joseph Clarke who may have been born later. |
