Thankyou both for replying, without going into further details, Social Services are involved and British Legion won't help because he hasn't any dependants (ie his daughters are grown up and he has no wife). |

Have you tried your local British Legion Branch? His next of kin could send for his Army Record but this might take weeks to arrive. |

After recently posting a request for help for the marriage cert of Keith Edwards (which I've ordered and am awaiting delivery) the family is now trying to find which army batalion he was in. The reason for this info is that keith died last week and left no money for his funeral, the family can't afford to pay for it and are trying to get help from the army. |
