Find Ancestors

Evening All, wondering if it would be possible for some census look ups for me.
I recieved a wedding certificate today dated 23rd Jan 1909 for Edgar Walker (25yrs) and Lily Hodgson (22yrs). Wedding took place in Leeds and both were living together.
Edgar Walker's father is George Walker and i think his job is Jeweller from what i can read. I think Edgars job is a Striker? not sure if thats what it says
Lily Hodgsons father is George Alfred Hodgson , job Labourer.

Any information would be much appreciated, i'd like to try and narrow down where they are from for ordering birth certificates.

I think thats the family as i have a birth certificate for a son in 1916 in Leeds and fathers job is Boiler Stoker, wondered if it was to do with the railway - so there is a positive connection.

This was the only Edgar Walker b. Halifax, father George; that I could find....

Does the marriage certificate indicate if George was deceased, as this George had died before the 1901 census ...?
