The incoming passenger lists don't start until 1878, and we know that they married in 1876......... so we aren't going to find Robert coming into the country.

So looking at the 1901 census this looks right as the 3 girls are with her and a son from Christophers previous marriage.

1881 England Census. Robert Scott wife Alice and children Lucy Ann aged 2 years and May aged 10 months living 12 Back Heath Street Pendleton Salford. Will look USA Records to see when they returned there. Hope this helps. Jackie.

I wonder if some kind soul who has access to USA records could look up some info for a friend of mine. She is looking for Robert Scott born in Philadelphia c1854. In 1857 he married Alice Barker in Wrexham. Sometime between 1881 and 1891 he returned to USA. My freind would like to know any details on his birth, when he came to UK and when he returned to USA. Is this asking too much? Thankyou
