I have Henry KING on 1911 census (b 1860 Ponders End, Middx) and 1901 census (b 1857 Ponders End, Middx) and living in West Ham area with family. I also think I have him on 1891 census as a boarder with the Tisdale family in Edmonton. |

Thanks Lindsey, that looks like a possibility. I had no real idea of where Ponders End was, so its always great that someone on here knows the surrounding area to give you a nudge in the right direction.... I now know to keep an eye out for Enfield too. Thanks again. |

I know he ended up in West Ham by 1901 census and he was a General Labourer so this looks a possibility, although his age is a couple of years out (but could the labourers really count that well back then?!). I did find a Henry King as a lodger in 1881 census in Wanstead, Essex, but not sure if that is the same area? |
