hi ,im looking for my dad Hywel Davies he was born in colwyn Bay,Wales.he has two brothers ken the oldest and Arfon( not sure if thats spelt right) the youngest,his parents were anna and wil(i think),hywel immigrated to perth ,western australia in the late 70's he married my mother barbara wood ,soon after i was born mum and her family went back to the uk were hywel was supposed to meet up with them in a few weeks, he never showed up and no one has seen him since .please any info would be greatly appriciated

Hi Tamara, In case it helps - the 'West Aus. State Library' has an 'Ask a Librarian' service (on-line) ...they will check electoral rolls from 1970's and see when/where your Dad went 'missing'. (You MAY need to try other States......then ask the 'National Library of Aus.' (Canberra) -they have same service) .... I noticed a 'Hywell Ralph Davies' d 16/8/1980 age 80yrs (NSW) bur. 'family grave Welsh free cemetery Karrakatta. Any link? Valerie (WAus)

thanks for the info i will check the ask a librarian service,i lost contact with his mum about ten years back,he is alive and well and the last i heard living in canberra with a new family,i have been trying to find him for years but i don't think he's listed in the phone book
