I will try and find out how to get info on prison records from that time.
But if it was in London then he was most prob in Scrubs or Pentonville I would have thought.
Brixton maybe I suppose.

yes in 1934 -35 but i dont know the prison He was selling vacum cleaners and sold the demonstration model and kept the money..how stupid....jenny

I have searched back from 1984 to 1968 on deaths and nothing showing for his name.
Unfortunately from 1968 back only the middle initial is listed,not the full name.

my husband was born 31 10 1934 ..77a Highgate Hill father on his birth cert was Cyril Milford Wilson Traviller sold silk stockings and vacum cleaners lived at 29 Goodinge Road Islington mother Muriel Wilson formerly Johnson but they could not have married as he was married at the time..my husbands name is Cyril Wilson Jenny

When the Deaths on Ancestry are transcribed,which should not be too long now,we can search to see if he is on it.
At the moment it has to be searched manually quarter by quarter,year by year,which is a long job,especially with the name Cyril m wilson.

I will put you on my list with my friends gran that I am going to find as soon as it happens.
In the mean time I will spend a while working back from 1984 as he is not on 1984 to 2005 deaths.
If we can find his possible death then we have a good chance of tracking him down to his birth place.

Never say never and all hope is not lost until the fat lady sings,and as I cant sing to save my life we will keep searching!
Check this every day at the moment if you can, to see if we have come up with anything for you .

I have checked for his death in ww2 and he does not appear on the lists.

his mothers name was Muriel Johnson but she never married Cyril Milford Wilson it does not look like we will find him jenny

What was your husbands mothers name?

Is the marriage on here the right one for his parents.?
Or were his parents not married?

If it is you need to send for it to get Cyrils age and his fathers name and occupation so we can try and find his birth.

Hi Im afraid that is all i know he was my husbands father all he has is his fathers name on his birth cert.and his mum was killed by bomb no other person to ask Jenny

There are no Cyril Milford Wilson births that I can find,but of course he may have been born just after they stopped giving the full second name on refs and only used a initial.

ANYONE have a Cyril Milford Wilson on their tree born early 1900 lived in Islington 1934 he was married.spent time in prison for selling vacum cleaner which was not his any ideas on how i can find him jenny
