I suspect there might be a few May Jackson's so if you get her marriage cert you will find her father's name and occupation which might narrow down your search.
However, if your info is correct, there is only one matching birth:

Births Dec 1886 (>99%)
Jackson May Nottingham 7b 333

1901 census has 2 possibilities! So personally I would go with the certain info which is her marriage.

May Jackson
Parents Samuel,Elizabeth abt 1885 Nottingham, Nottinghamshire,

May Jackson
Parents Henry,Annie abt 1887 Nottingham, Nottinghamshire,

Marriage details if you decide to order the cert:

Marriages Sep 1904 (>99%)

Jackson May Nottingham 7b 634
Smith Bertie Nottingham 7b 634

Bit of a coincidence here, when i was searching for a friends Ancestors, i obtained a marriage certificate for a May jackson who married Bertie Smith on the 9th of August 1904 in Nottingham

Berties Father on the Certificate is Charles Frederick Smith deceased, occupation Marble Mason

Mays father on the certificate is John Jackson deceased Occupation Machine fitter.

Does this info tally with what you know are they the same people you are thinking about?

you are quite welcome to have the certificate, let me know i can either post it or send it by email
