Theres this couple living on the next street which could be a possible for the parents as they didnt often live very far from each other in those days

It might be a lead worth following but as the birth/marriage for William were pre registration I'm afraid it means a trip to Wolverhampton or contacting the local archives to ask for a birth/marriage search for William

Hi Ginny,
Thats the family, the problem is who his parents where.
At his marriage to Ann he was living at Canon Street, Stafford, and Ann came from Stoke on Trent.
That is all the info I have.

Can anyone help me find the parents of William Edwards.
He was married to Ann unknown in abt 1837/8, children Richard 1838, Mary 1840, William 1845.
I seem to have hit a brick wall.
