My great grandmother SARAH HALL b Walsingham c1835 . Help needed please to find her ancestors. eg parents etc. Also her 1st marriage details. 1st husband Robert Chapman, 2nd husband Robert Pinner ( norfolk) 1875 I have the marriage cert. I have details of her siblings from census reports and as married on the 1861 census. Need death of 1st husband and marriage date please. All help appreciated. Thankyou. Sylvia

If you have her 2nd marriage cert does it not give her fathers name on it?

1841 Sarah aged 6 wolsingham Durham
Fther William and mother Frances( Need dob,dod,and mothers maiden name)

1851 cannot find Sarah

1861 Sarah is already married to Robert Chapman and has 2 children
need marriage date and death of Robert.

1871 Sarah is living in the same household as Robert Pinner in Norfolk as a housekeeper prior to marrying him in 1875.
She had a child Bessy Chapman aged 3 months and her marriage cert to Pinner states widow I can only assume Robert Chapman died between 1869 and 1875.

So if Sarah was a widow on the 1871 census that only gives us a few years to look for his death and as she is living in Norfolk in 1871 (which is where first hubby was born) I wonder if he died in Norfolk ......................................

Looks like we have the marriage of Sarah and Chapman.Thinks she has a thing about December weddings !!! She married her 2nd husband on Christmas day 1875.

Didn't realise she had another sibling ( Elizabeth ) 1851 census.

Searching now for Robert Chapmans death and any info not already confirmed regarding William Hall and Frances.
