Nothing before 1871 for them.

John Davies 1818 was a sheep dealer on 1871 and Farmer on others.

I am having a search done for one of the younger childrens births,but with Thomas/John Davies etc in that area it takes the poor reg lady some while.....

That is the only reference I can find to Llanfair Clydogau - nothing on 1861 for the place

I am begning to think that most of that census must be missing for Cardiganshire as I had the same trouble with the same family ,different line, in the parish of Nantcwnlle,not far away from Llanfair Clydogau, as well.
And when I tried to do a page by page search the enumeration district does not come up,just the description.

Llanfair-Orllwyn birth place is a fair way from Llanfair Clydogau.

I shall just have to wait for a childs birth cert it seems ,I dont care which one if only they can find one amongst all the Davieses there,then I shall give them the added work of searching for the parents marriage:)
