As Freewheel says, if you have the same father, you are half-sisters. I assume your father was Norman Cedric Jones. Jones is a common name, but perhaps Norman Cedric will help a bit. |

Well, I've found the marriage of her parents, and her likely birth in Manchester. The next thing is to search for a marriage of Hazel. There are 12 possible marriages of a Hazel D Jones between 1965 and 1977 and none are in Manchester. Unless you know anything more about her, your only option is to apply for each certificate in turn, specifying the father as Norman C Jones. It will cost you £7 each time, but if the father is not Norman C Jones you will be refunded £4. It could be a costly business as she may only have given the name Norman Jones, and might only have described herself as Hazel. |
