I am looking for the baptisms of Jane Sanders and John Cox in the Great Milton area of Oxfordshire. They married in 1761 Great Milton so were probably born c1740......can anyone help me find their baptisms

If they aren't on the IGI, you will need to access the info at the County records office

This is the only John which fits
27 April 1731-John COX s William & Alice

Cannot see Jane - have to go out now but I will have a look later (I have the P/R transcripts on fiche) and see how far back I can get, there are COXs back to the late 1500s in Great Milton

I suspect a "brick wall" coming up !!

I could not find a marriage for William and Alice at Great Milton and only the one baptism so looked at the buriels

04 Jul 1731- Alice COX
07 Aug 1731-John COX
14 Jan 1795 John COX
plus
28 Nov 1828-Elizabeth COX 56

No ages given for the 2 John Cox's.

No baptism at Great Milton for Alice SANDERS either.
No buriel for William

It may be worth asking Margaret Rose on her "Oxfordshire " thread ,she has the Oxfordshire Marriage Index and may be able to give you the marriage of William and Alice and William may have married again ?

Edit to add
Margaret Rose has her thread on the "Records Office" board
