	His birth record is on FreeBMD. The certificate will give you his parents' names. Apply online to the General Register Office - £7.00. (Do not pay more than this on other sites!) Jill

	Have you found his birth cert on FreeBMD? Have you found him in any census? The 1911 is free to search (pay to view) The 1901 is also free to search (pay to view). Jill
