looking for Herbert A Harris

Hi

following my last request to find my HARRIS family, it seems that they emigrated to OZ ( thanks Tania) but no mention of Herbert. I think that I may have found a reference to Herbert in 1891

Herbert A Harris was born in Surbiton,surrey in 1874 to George and Louisa Harris.It looks as if his brother George A went to Australia.In 1891 i found a reference to a George or Hebert Harris on a ship in Essex but I didnt write down which one

This is what I wrote down - SHIP- THE SHAFTESBURY. RIVER THAMES OFF GRAYS,ESSEX
R.D - ORSETT
SUB RD - GRAYS

I'm pretty sure that it was Herbert which would make sense if he didnt emigrate with the rest of the family.He would have been 17 or 18

Any more info would be great eg 1901 or 11- my ancestry sub has expired so I cant look myself

I don't have a sub either, but the free search (sans details) gives:

George A Harris abt 1873 city, Surrey, England city, Essex
William Harris abt 1876 city, Surrey, England city, Essex

This piece covers Sub-District 1C Grays in Orsett RD
I think Geo & Wm are on difft pages - I don't know if they've any connection.

thanks- dont think William is connected to George on the Shaftesbury assuming that he is the right one.
Could be my Herbert in 1911 - does it say where he was born. Is St Saviour in Surbiton,surrey - thats where Herbert was born
