Hi, trying to find a lost sister Ivy Lydia b. 1928, Hackney - married to George Charles JONES in 1959 aged 23 at marriage son of Charles Henry JONES. Not sure how to trace, would appreciate any help. Many thanks.

If you will give her surname before marriage (you may have put it in the surname line but no one else can see it believe that or not) it is possible to search the index for births with the two surnames ... hoping hers was not Smith, lol.

Details of the children, if any, can be sent to you privately since posting their personal info would be rather an invasion of privacy. It could be possible to find their marriages, and then look for all of these people on the electoral roll at www.192.com for example.

... Did a quick search, she was Elliott, married in Ealing. Unfortunately that is a very common surname combination, dozens of births with those surnames in the next decade, quite a few in the London area.

But aha. Ivy and George are together on the electoral roll but only showing in 2002.

Many thanks, I got credits on find my past and have now spent all credits trying to find on living people with different combinations George Charles, George C, Ivy Lydia, Ivy L - but no luck.
I then tried on 192.com and found them (number 45) on electoral roll 2002. Can I buy an old Electoral Roll list, or something? I do not live in the UK but visiting new year, would be lovely to find lost sister.

I don't know why Freewheel was it deleted but to repeat there are members here who offer electoral roll lookups.
