Good evening. I have been trying to find the death of Alfred Rufus Williams, born 2 October 1888, born in Cardiff, he died in the Penarth area of Glamorgan, any help will be appreciated.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

There are just no matches at all, pre-1916, or post-1916 at Ancestry.

I tried first names only, birthdate with first name, with last name, etc, nothing.

How about WWI? Do you have the 1920 child's birth certificate and are you certain that Alfred Rufus was indeed his father? I would leave you to search through the A Williams-s at CWGC!
