can anyone make sense

hi there im trying to find james mitchell born c 1821 yorkshire possibly york
he married a jane and had children after 1845 and lived in beverly yorkshire

i think i may have found him in 1841 living in halifax but cant make out job description, can anyone else make sense of it please, as it may help, he was a railway guard from 1851 onwards.

its the younger james i think is him, there is a jane same age which could possibly be his wife x

Cotton weaver

The marriage cert will give you accurate info about his father.........for cross-referencing

I wouldn't have thought he would have gone from Cotton weaver to Railway Guard in 10 years -

it is possible that James went from cotton weaver to railway guard after 1841. If he was living in the Todmorden area at that time the railway through Todmorden opened in 1841 so he may have thought it was a good time to change jobs.
