Find Ancestors

My great grandad Frederick William Watson born c 1858 (Paddington) married about 1882 to a Emma I am trying to find her surname, they had four children Charles Born 1883, Herbert 1882, Olive 1887 and Kenneth 1898. accoinding to census the children were alll born in Croydon, but I cannot find any record of their births to enable me to obtain a birth certificate to get Emma's name
