Hi all,

I'm trying to find a William Young, who was listed on the 1911 census as 'born at sea' in around 1876 (give or take a year). He was married to Jessie Sarah Shepherd. I have his marriage certificate, and all I know is his father was called Thomas Young and he was deceased when they got married.

Many Thanks!
Lloyd

And to save people going over the same ground it would really have been better to tag a message on your original Young thread.

Ah ok, sorry I couldn't find my original thread. What do you mean by tagging a message?

And yep, I did get the birth certificate and confirmed it. Thomas Young's occupation is just a labourer, so no clues there unfortunately. There aren't any Young's listed as witnesses either.

You will find your original thread on this board now as I have nudged it up.

If you had gone to the left of this page and looked under "my threads"you would have seen it there.

It really would be best to go back to it as it has so much info on it,and leave this one to sink into the yonder .

Lloyd, when FBG says "look under", she actually means "click on" -- click on the "My threads" link over on the left to find all your threads, all the time.
