hi there,
on a funeral list of 1936 are a Phyllis and Hilda Wood both a Miss, its says of London, but the funeral was in scholes near rotherham and was of a besty wood. So would love to know the connection. don't know how old these two are.
thanks

I imagine this is the death so she would have been born about 1847:-

Name: Betsy Wood
Death Registration Month/Year: 1936
Age at death (estimated): 89
Registration district: Rotherham
Inferred County: Yorkshire West Riding
Volume: 9c
Page: 723

She was quite a good age, so I can't imagine too many people of her own age travelling that far for a funeral. I wonder if they could be children or grandchildren or possibly nieces of the deceased?

yes she was a married lady, but they are not her husbands sisters, i have checked that on the census returns, so was a bit confused as to London, could they have been at a college. Yes she died at rotherham.
thanks
