Elizabeth Jones b1852in England parents Thomas and Margaret Jones from her marriage cert her mothers maiden surname was also was jones.
Elizabeth was married in Glasgow in 1873 to John Armstrong.
I realise that this is one of the worst surnames to trace but thought I would ask.

What is the occupation of her father on the marriage cert?

Where is she after the marriage - Scotland or England?

Any luck with finding her in 1871 in Scotland - you can search on occupation of father to find him

Having a quick look at Ancestry, if you are sure of your info there aren't many who match born in England - let's hope you are right and it isn't Wales!! I'm referring to 1861 census here.
