I have a Jane Adam (b-1880) and I think she married Ernest Turner in 1898 (Middlesbrough). (I say maybe as I have eliminated him out of the 2 men on the marriage record) On the 1901 census I cannot find either of them, and I am not sure if they have gone to Scotland (Jane's parents were born in Scotland and moved to Middlesbrough where Jane and her 3 siblings were born) or emigrated. I would be very grateful if anyone could shed some light on this couple. The other guy on the marriage record was Harry Atkins but I think he married the other lady on the record.

Yes Somerset Girl, that is the correct Jane and her 3 siblings on the 1891 census. She was not on 1901 census so I gathered she must have married in that ten year period between 1891 and 1901 census. Then i found the marriage with Turner and Atkins. The last post you have put sounds like Jane, as the daughter Lily has Adam as a middle name. I may sound daft here, but does that mean his name is Henry instead of Harry? Or is one name a nick name for the other?
