The service record says that mother was Willimena Scott (Scott is crossed out) and replaced with Hunt

So this marriage fits:

Hi Jane.
Do you know when and where he died please.
If after 1967 his exact date of birth should be on his death ref.
Did he have a middle name at all?

Edit..
Just realised you say 1954ish..
And if he were born in 1903 he must have lied about his age to have served in WW1 as in 1914 he would have been just 11yrs of age?So he must be older I would think.

James Scott - Believed to have been born 1903? Served in Northumberland fusiliers looks very young in WW1, Injured at dunkirk in WW2 - maybe sent to liverpool to recouperate. No idea where he was born, but probably northumberland (re regiment) - he met my Grandmother in Morpeth (she was married) they ran away together to Leeds 1933 and had 4 children. He mentioned having a brother Frank and a sister Isabella - travelled back to his home area in 1953 /1954 just before he died. he was early 30's when he met my grandmother so believe he may have been married also. His WW1 picture shows him with another soldier have been told that photo's were taken with family members only can anyone confirm this? And help with any idea's on how we can find him.
thanks Jane
