Do you, by chance, know when Bertha was born????

If you buy Phyllis's birth certificate, you will know her DOB

I'll leave this with you now

Phyllis Robinson 1918

No I don't know her actual DOB. As far as I can rmember she was not married by 1947.
Grandmother's name was Bertha Robinson, she went to live in the Worthing area at some point after 1947, not sure where or when she died.

OK - do you know her exact DOB?

It would have been helpful if you'd given the full details - as you obviously knew them

You imply that she was not married in 1947 - is this correct?

What was your grandmother's name?

Do you know when/where she died?

Hello, Flick,

It's difficult when you've no idea where someone went after about 1947 and siblings/parents "fell out", never to be reconciled. Have searched Ancestry, Freebmd, Genes and Findmypast to no avail.

Hello Anne,

I was surprised to see my Phyllis Robinson registered in Worksop in 1918. Her half-brother Arthur, b 1909, and my father, Edgar b.1911, were born in Laughton en le Morthen, a pit village in the Rotherham area. She may have been born there herself, but reg'd in Worksop. She and her mother, my grandmother, were living in Scarborough during WW2 and possibly into 1947. As far as I know she only had the one Christian name. I've searched Ancestry, Freebmd and Findmypast and can only find her birth. From 1947 I do not know where mother and daughter went to live, as my father "fell out" big-style with them, never to be reconciled!!

That's all I can tell you.

Patricia Anne.

Does anyone know of Phyllis Robinson, whether she married and had children and when and where she died?
