if you have her dads birth cert it will show who his parents were and where they lived. Lee High Road comes under the borough of Lewisham and they have an Archives section in the library on Lewisham High Street. so you could look at the electrol registers and see who was in the house..this might give you clues.on your grandparents marraige cert it will show his occupation and that might give you a lead. Have you tried a letter to the Human resources dept at Brands Hatch? maybe they would be willing to pass a letter to Alan..they would keep his address for pension purposes...might be worth a try.Which Uni did Bruce go to? and when?...maybe they would have a website with a contact section...one of the lecturers may recall him or he may still be there as a teacher himself? all avenues worth exploring? anyway good luck |

Have you tried a search on friends reunited, you can do an address search on there, there could be a neighbour listed who would know of them |

go onto FreeBMD and try to find dad..lets say he was born 1930 try 5 years either side and you should find him..then if you get the birth certificate and that will show his parents and you can work backwards from that. The other options previously suggested still apply..its sometimes hard work but if you want to find family you have to put the work in in afraid, its unlikely that anyone you seek will see the thread so if you want the possible contact the imput must be yours. anyway good luck. |

There are some members who offer to do electoral roll look ups. Go to Records on this site, and enter "who are you looking for 2009 electoral roll look up" and it should give you the names of members who will do this for you. Click on their name and send a message to them giving the names you are looking for. |
