Find Ancestors

Marian Caroline Roberts, probably born London in 1911, but lived in Australia NSW. In1932 she married Jack Finch Bower in Parramatta, New South Wales. and later Hector Malcolm Crew in 1949 Rockdale, NSW. Does anyone know anything about this lady or her descendents?

Just a 'long shot' I am going backwards:
We have a Charles Albert Edmund Roberts b. 1872 in St. Pancras....married Mary Anne Maria Savory 1894 in St. George Hanover Sq. Do not know if they had children.
Believe he/they came to Sydney NSW in early 1900's but not been able to find them.
A long and involved story...above Charles was the brother of my husbands g grandfather. The children were born under the name of Roberts....but their father was a Storer.
Do you not have any idea who Marian's parents were?

Found a death for Marian Caroline Crew on Ryerson Index. Death notice 4/1/1995 age 84 years.

Thanks, but we know very little about her - possibly her mother was Maude Edith Roberts.

To be honest we did not know she existed until a few months ago

Yes, I think you have got the lady but I would love to know more particularly about any of her descedents from either marriage in Australia. If any one from NSW can help me trace I would be very grateful.

Do u need "NSW electrol roll look-up's"....I am in Qld but if you add above someone from NSW will see it and hopefully have a look for you

You need to try and get her death certificate.
Australian death certificates also list any children (plus their age at time of the death)

You could contact the paper from the Ryerson Index (google it) they may have more info also

I would love to get hold of her death certificate - may be I need someone from NSW to help.

If the Marian Caroline Roberts born 1910 Bethnal Green is the one this is probably her on the 1911 census with mother and sister.

You have to actually contact the newspaper listed on the index to find out what is written in the full article about Marion death.
Or contact the State Library and they will check the paper, (for a small fee)

What Patricia probably meant when she stated " Sorry no more info."
was that there was no other info in the listing...i.e. "Late of ......" etc.

The notice was in the Sydney Morning Herald on the 7JAN1995
It may contain extra info.
