PS Did you find any thing else on the 2 JohnWhitworths b1665 and 1701 it also dawned on me that John 1701 was really old to be Richards b.1780 father , but seems that everyone else with the same family tree has missed this and Richards possible 2nd marriage. Many thanks again Jill

Hi Sharon,It suddenly dawned on me yesterday, that Richard Whitworth b.1780, must have married again, to a Sarah as Richard Rawson Whitworth was born to a Richard and Sarah, not Elizabeth Surplice, Would you be able to find a marriage, Sarah could possibly be a nee Rawson as I wonderd where that name came from as it seems to be used as a second name for all the offspring after 1810 . Many thanks Jill

Hi there, could you possibly help with a baptism for Lilian Taylor born 1884, father Thomas Taylor and mother Elizabeth Bell. Probably in Radford, Nottingham. Also any other children born to same parents, I know this a tall order but would be grateful for any information received.
Thanking you in anticipation,
Jeanette.

Hi
Im wondering if you could possibly find a birth for James White about 1785 . I know he was living in the Kirkby in Ashfield /Pinxton area and was bur at Pinxton . Derek has tried in the Derbys area but couldnt find a birth , so I thought perhaps the Notts disc would come up with something
Thank you Marion

Hi Lorraine
Could you please look for the marriage of William Barker to Alice? He was born abt. 1701 in Clifton cum Glapton, I think his son William Gamble Barker was born abt. 1745.

Many thanks
Kathleen

Hi Lexie..don't measn to hijack Lorraine's Thread.....but she knows me and I'm sure she won't mind.
As part of my Derbyshire reseasrch i am actually working on the Swain family..........so i offer the following as additional to anything Lorraine may find for you.

It appears that Charlotte Swain might have been born in Belper 1839 daughter of John and Jane. It also appears that although she had several children..including Frank..that she may never have married.....This is no more than a suggestion at this stage, based on the fact that in 1871 she had four children and is listed as unmarried...On a later Census she is listed as a "windower"..which means widow......

We'll have to see what lorraine comes up with.

Derek.
