You will need to use Parish records to go back further. Do you know where in Gloucestershire he was born?

These sites have parish records on line:

Hello,

I am trying to find anything relating to the Harris family in Gloucestershire circa 1800. I have a James Harris born about 1801 and I think his parents may have been William Harris and Nancy ?

As this was all before the begining of records in 1837 I find that I am a bit stuck. Can anyone help?
