Violet May's mother is Nellie Lowe (c1890) married to John Henry Andrews March Q 1915 at Porsmouth. I cannot find a birth for Nellie Lowe. Can anybody help me with this please?

Samuel and Sarah EDIT Different Samuel. 1891 was a policeman this one is a labourer

I cannot find a suitable birth on freeBMD so, is it possible that Nellie is a pet name, it certainly looks like it is her real name. Anybody got an idea what Nellie might stand for? I need the birth to find her mothers maiden name.

Nellie was often a pet name for Ellen.

all three of them are a dead end aswell. I am convinced that Nellie is in fact her "real" name, as it is on her Marraige cert.

Is there anyone here who has access to parish records for Holy trinity, Portsea and Landport, who could perhaps look for a baptism?
