Ruth from Australia seeking information on the Brown's from Lincolnshire.My father was Charles Thomas Brown.born in Grimbsy-1909.My great grandparents wereWilliam and Louisa Matilda Brown (nee Handley) My grandparents were Charles Thomas senior and Edith Brown (nee Taylor).The Brown family lived in Barrow,Gainsborough,Middle Rasen and Grimbsy over a period of years.Perhaps someone has knowledge of this family.

I would like to know if I have relatives living in the U.K.I am interested to learn of the history of my late father's family.My father travelled to Australia by ship,. He was eighteen years old .Four years later he married my mother(Laura Catherine Taylor)My father was killed at the fall of Malya.I have been unable to make contact with decendents from the Brown family,perhaps there are none living.This is my first attempt seeking information in this manner. perhaps you can help /

I tried Brown/Taylor births Grimsby and came up with what looks like a set of twins, but impossible to say if they are Charles' siblings:

Today's date-28th-march,20 10.
Checking through the 1881census-1891 census and the 1901 census,I find that the Brown family lived at 30 Willingham Rd.or St.then at 50 and 51 Willingham Rd.or St.Then in 1901 they lived at 49 Willingham Rd. or St.Grimbsy?Linconshire.I am interested to find out if per chance I have any living relatives.
