Trying to find Clifford Jones. Born anywhere between 1880 and 1900 possibly in South Wales. He was living in Staffordshire in the Hednesford area by 1930. His father was reputed to be a doctor. He had 2 children, one born 1931, the other 1937 (both girls). The mother was Mary Edwina Marshall of Hednesford. He owned 2 expensive cars, so must have been fairly affluent. Nothing more known but I have photos of him.

Well on freebmd there are over 100 Clifford Jones b 1880 -1900 and most of them in Wales!

Did he marry the mother of his children please? Do you have a name for his father to help narrow the search?

Is this Mary's birth? If it is and you think he could have been born from 1880 onwards that would be a huge age gap?

Hi Ginny. Mary was born in 1908 but hearsay has it that Clifford was possibly 20 years older than her, although this may not be fact. I suspect not. Information is so sparse that it is probably like trying to find a needle in a haystack, but I shall persevere.


I cant find any marriage for this pair. Did they marry anywhere other than Eng/Wales?
